If the system is leased, your technician must obtain permission before performing any work. Unauthorized work may void the warranty.
Similarly, some companies may have a workmanship warranty, which they reserve the right to void if someone else works on the system.
The panel and inverter warranty should not be affected as long as the technician is licensed in the applicable jurisdiction and complies with the relevant warranty terms.
